The Forum of Young Global Leaders (YGL), Geneva has announced the new class of Young Global Leaders for 2019 today. Kaleidofin is proud to announce that Sucharita Mukherjee – Cofounder and CEO of Kaleidofin has been selected as the only woman entrepreneur from India among the 127 leaders from all over the world. YGL is a prestigious organisation aligned with the World Economic Forum’s vision, seeking to spur public-private cooperation amongst these unique actors to demonstrate entrepreneurship in the global public interest.
Representing more than 100 nationalities and having over 1300 members across 70 nations, the members of YGL are selected for a 5-year tenure and are united by the belief that the urgent problems of today present an opportunity to forge a better future across sectors, generations and borders. Global leaders Jack ma, Mark Zuckerberg are notable alumni of YGL and the Board governing the forum consists of 12 notable world leaders including Marissa Mayer, Jimmy Wales and Queen Rania of Jordan.
Founded by Klaus Schwab of the World Economic Forum in 2004, the YGL has undertaken and addressed various global issues including malnutrition, financial empowerment, education and more. The idea behind the Forum for Young Global Leaders is facilitating earnest dialogue and friendships across cultures to bridge divides, fostering fresh thinking and dynamic new ways of collaboration to shape a more positive, peaceful and prosperous society.

Young Global Leaders participate in the Annual Meeting of the New Champions, established in 2007 and known informally as “Summer Davos” alongside delegations to the World Economic Forum.
