Step cables expands geographical presence

Step Industries an emerging company in cable & wire manufacturing segment has announced today its market expansion into 200 cities of the northern and Southern states to strengthen its operations and expand its base into existing markets it present.

Company also announces its partnership with Jharkhand bijli vitran Nigam, Assam power distribution and MP Poorv kheshtra Vidyut vitaran to deliver critical electrification projects

Currently, the company’s products are available in over 120 key cities across India and with the announcement, Step cables aims to expand its reach into markets including Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan, Assam and Jharkhand.

“We want to penetrate deeper into the markets where we are already present. It helps in better distribution and efficient supply chain. Once we stabilize our operations in these markets, we will expand to new markets” Ankit Tayal, co-founder Step Cables said.

The company has witnessed an unparalleled growth in last 7 years and has now achieved a gross turn-over of Rs 300 crores with 1000+ workforce working across markets.

The company, a Delhi based emerging brand into cable and wire manufacturing segment. In a short span of seven years, the company has grown tremendously and has partnered with many government and corporate conglomerates to deliver critical power projects around rural electrification in Tier 2, 3 and 4 towns.

Step Cables specializes in EPC (Engineering Project Construction) contracts and is currently a key contributor in many central & state electrification schemes like ‘Saubhagya Yojna’, IPDS (Integrated Power Development Scheme), R-APDRP etc.
